It’s a ‘sea of green’ at the Hammond Park Junior Football Club with the arrival of 3oo brand new footballs sponsored by Richard Noble.

The new footballs feature the club’s colours which are green, navy and white, making it hard to miss the Hammond Park Hurricanes while they’re in action!

President of the Club Jason Burton said it’s rare for junior clubs to have footballs featuring their own colours.

“The new footballs with our colours and logo really give the club a point of difference, as well as allow us to provide quality equipment for our kids,” said Mr Burton.

The Hammond Park Junior Football Club has grown to more than 200 players in five years and their Auskick program is now the second largest in the district.

Mr Burton said the club is proud to announce their new all girls team, the HurricAngels, as well as the All Abilities Hurricanes, a team for children with disabilities and special needs.

“This new initiative will allow more young kids to be involved in team sport each weekend, as we remove the barriers and welcome new players and their families into the Hurricane family,” he said.
