On July 28th Australia will celebrate National Tree Day.

National Tree Day is an annual event focusing on tree planting and restoration, connecting the community with nature. Not-for-profit groups, schools, and community members alike volunteer their time to help plant new native tree saplings and shrubs across the country. In our wider community, there is tree day event being held at Beeliar Regional Park to restore the native Banksia Woodlands at this site.

At Vivente, we have an ongoing commitment to provide more native species in our parks and streetscapes. Vivente streetscapes and public open space areas include a range of native tree species which provide important foraging habitat for endangered black cockatoo species, as well as beautiful shade and amenity for our residents. So we all play our part in restoring our unique Australian landscape.⠀ ⠀

The Beeliar Regional Park tree day event will be held on Sunday, 28 July from 9am til 1pm at 184 Hope Road, Bibra Lake.

For more information on this event and others planned in the region, please visit the National Tree Day website.
